Bed & Breakfast in Bologna, Italy

Located just outside the ancient walls that enclose the city centre of Bologna, Ricordo Del Mare (Memory of the Sea) is a Bed & Breakfast set on the second floor of a quiet family house dating to the first half of the 20th century.

It features:

Authentic vintage Italian style furniture and décor.
Living room, bathroom with shower, hall and two bedrooms: a main bedroom with a large double bed and a smaller bedroom with two single beds (it is possible to add a cot or camping bed for small children). See Sthe page “The flat” for more details.
The flat is well connected and it is close to the city centre; the main station, the airport and several places of interest can be reached quickly and easily (see the section “The area”).
Food for an Italian breakfast is at your disposal, as well as some basics for refreshments and for cooking.
The kitchen can be used freely for any other meal the guests should need to prepare.
Books and travel guides are at your disposal.
There is a book sharing area where you can freely take and/or leave books as you wish.
Pets are welcome. Please let me know in advance if your pet has any special requirements (I can provide a cushion and bowls on request)
Free private parking (maximum height: 1.9m) with electric charging.

About me

I come from Genoa, Liguria and I moved to Bologna. This flat is situated in my wife’s family home, which was built by her great-grandfather in the first half of the 20th century.

Because of my origins (Genoa is on the sea), the B&B’s name is "Ricordo del mare" (Memory of the Sea) and beside information and tourist guides of Bologna and its territory you can also find much about Liguria and Genoa. Should you be interested in a holiday there, let me know and I can give you some tips!
